I'm in the middle of moving everything out of my house and into a new one so I have limited internet connectivity. As a result, trading and postings will be light this week.

Hi i just started trading forex part-time, am currently using DBFX platform and i have called deutsche bank in New york to confirm if this broker was part of their bank and they said yes before i made a deposit with them. Well i was wondering if any of guys know anything about this guys. They have larger spreads which generally follow the FRB rates, but i feel safer having my money with a large bank than with a private company. Also from my little experience i was wondering how much do u guys think our trades affect the daily market, obviously all broker does not allow streaming rates to works against them, any ideas on how far brokers go to protect themselves against losses and will they goes as far as trading massively against individuals to scare those with little capital out of the market. Since the Deutsche bank say dbfx is a subsidiary can they go out of business without the bank taking responsibility for it.
