December 9, 2006 by Trader Rich
I mentioned the Martingale strategy a couple of weeks ago when I was focusing on money management.

There's a new article by Lien on Investopedia about the Martingale and its popularity with forex traders.

the problem with kathy lien(on all these people writting books) is that i wonder if she actually trade on her own ideas. if she thinks her ideas are so great she should trade on them.
I never understood the motivation of people who are selling trading books unless there are totally useless.
There is on exception that comes to mind: Tony Crabel. Her started writting articles on Stock and Commodities magazines, then wrote his own book (http://www.amazon.com/Trading-Short-Patterns-Opening-Breakout/dp/0934380171/sr=8-1/qid=1165684528/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-0875395-7479116?ie=UTF8&s=books), then started is own fund(http://www.crabel.com/index.htm). From the price of the book you can tell the content is valuable.
In any case you know what I will probably buy the Lien book on your rating. May be I will find here a the needle in a haystack. But could you share which aspect of the book you liked the most ?
