Forex Success Begins With Technology
Sharky from over at http://www.thinkingstuff.com talks about exactly what I've been doing for the last couple of weeks. I too just purchased a 250 Gig external hard drive where all my historical data and databases are being stored. I did this so that I can process this data locally and not on my web servers. Crunching data is so CPU intensive that access to this website used to crawl when I would do any backtesting or number crunching.

No Wii For Me
I didn't get a Playstation 3 or a Nintendo Wii. I didn't show enough dedication to getting either and just got caught up in the hype. By the time I got to any store, I was already too late. Here are a couple of pictures showing crowds at Target at 7 am as I was leaving.
