Peter Bain Gets Knocked Down
Forex On Top, was updated with the most up-to-date visitor traffic rankings today. Oanda is still #1 and there is no threat that they'll be knocked out of that slot anytime soon. Forex Project moved up 1 spot to #22 which in turn knocked Peter Bain's site down to #23. There's a bunch of new sites that were added this week that debuted in the top 200. The biggest jump was a site called, ForexBasic which moved up 12 spots. I'm not going to link to it from here because I wouldn't recommend it. New Search Feature
I added a new search feature to http://www.forexontop.com to make it easier for people to find either their website in the rankings or any other forex website in the rankings. Also added this week was a form to submit your forex website. I'm no longer relying on the DMOZ (Open Directory Project) to supply me with a listing of websites that belong in the forex category. If you have a forex website and want to be included, you can submit your site for review at http://www.forexontop.com/add_forex_website.php.
Like I previously said, this is a little side project of mine because I love statistics and rankings, I enjoy programming, and I think it's generally a useful repository for anyone to find quality forex websites.
Oanda is #1 in Traffic
I got a couple of comments about the top 200+ forex website rankings; mostly how they weren't accurate. The rankings before were dependent on how Alexa sorted the sites in their category listings. I was pulling data in the order in which they gave it to me. As some of you noticed, some sites were listed ahead of others even though their Alexa Rank wasn't higher. The one website that got shafted the most in the rankings was Oanda which had the highest Alexa traffic rank but was listed as #19 in the rankings. I fixed this tonight and now the rankings are based on traffic rank. You can see that Oanda benefited greatly from this change. http://www.forexontop.com
In addition, every forex websites Alexa traffic rank is also listed. More enhancements coming soon.
250+ Most Visited Forex Sites
I've updated the database of most visited Forex sites to include now over 250 sites, about 40 more than there were last week. More functionality will be coming like Alexa ranking display, historical forexontop ranking graphs, and a search feature. The other reasons behind the site is to keep my programming skills sharp and also because I love statistics and rankings.

Forex Top 210+ Websites Updated
The first update of http://www.forexontop.com occurred this evening. The forex website with the greatest positive ranking change was http://www.radaforex.com, an emerging market and exotic currency broker moved up 26 spots to #183. Don't ask me why it had a gain in traffic, the site looks absolutely useless to me.
The forex website with the greatest negative ranking change was K.B. Advisory Ltd., a subscription based currency analysis and recommendation website. The site lost 12 spots to #204.
Action Forex debuted at #90 probably because they were just approved by DMOZ.
Saxo Bank remains #1. Forex Project remains at #22.

Most Visited Forex Websites
I spent the day extending the functionality of the Top 200 Forex
Sites. Now included are changes in ranking from last week and also
forex trading websites that have fallen out of the rankings. The
statistics will be updated weekly. Here's a little picture snippet:

If your site isn't listed, it could be due to the following reasons:
- Your site is not in the DMOZ.
- Your site isn't ranked high enough in Alexa traffic reports.
Most Visited Forex Sites
I've finally cleaned up the Top 200 Forex Sites by correcting the functionality. It is accurately reporting the most trafficked sites according to Alexa. Here is the top 10 list.
- Saxo Bank – try out their demo platform here
- Easy-Forex – They must be unbelievable marketers
- FXStreet - Useful site with a lot of free resources
- AC-Markets – I've never tried this broker
- DailyFX - An FXCM site with decent commentary
- FXCM - Well-known broker
- GCI Financial – A broker I've never heard anything about
- Finotec Group -Yet another broker I've heard nothing about
- Cmsfx -Broker with well known VT Trader software
- GFT Forex – One of the larger brokers
7 out of the top 10 are dominated by Forex brokers. Forex Project is #24. Check out the rest of the top 200 sites (it's actually top 210 sites.)
Top 200 Forex Sites Updated
The Top 200 forex sites were updated this evening. These rankings are pulled from Alexa's traffic rankings. To get a little more detailed, these are the top 200 sites pulled from the DMOZ category Business / Investing / Commodities and Futures / Forex.
Forex Project is #29.
