Week 9 Performance

Week 9 was pretty uneventful for me compared to previous weeks.  Most of it had to do with the fact that I only made 3 trades all week.  All 3 trades were winners for a total pip profit of 169 and $1425.  Though the week turned out to be profitable, I’m still not comfortable with my trading strategy.  Why? Because I don’t believe I have one.  I don’t have a consistent strategy week in and week out and this may prevent me from consistently winning each week. 

I have to really sit down and think about whether I am any closer this week to having a consistent strategy than I was in previous weeks.  I think I’m still experimenting with a lot of things right now and unlike most, I’m doing it with a live account.

The last 9 weeks have not been too bad for profitability:

515 pip profit and $4305.34

I’m not going to win any awards though.  This 515 pips came with a substantial amount of time and effort and I’m no closer to being able to quit my day job.
